To get rid of the crease, like ANY fabric, all you need to do is to iron it out (or if you use a heat press, even better). Once you iron the creased part, the crease will disappear (The heat activated glue at the back does require an iron on a heat press and that will flatten all creases out). You will have to sew the colors together first (for multi color letters), and then sew the letters onto the nameplate, and then sew it onto your own jersey.
