Type I Conlon photograph of Mike Gonzalez, circa 1926. Stamped on the back: “Charles M. Conlon, Photographer for Spalding’s Guide and Baseball Magazine.” Written on back is the player’s name (as “Miguel A. Gonzales”), “1926 Cubs,” and a circled 8. It looks like a round sticker has been removed (possibly a Christie’s sticker). The photo has been cut down to 4 x 5 inches. See photos for condition, no flaws on face. Gonzalez lived a long baseball life, and was in the majors as a player and manager from 1912 to 1946, with the Boston Braves, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants, and Chicago Cubs.
